Puppets and performance, made of something else.

Wayward Objects makes puppet theatre from found and discarded materials: curious characters and sculptural worlds built by hand and brought to life with live music, movement and play.

Our shows tour to theatres, festivals, libraries, museums, galleries, community gardens and schools, inviting audiences of all ages to look again at the materials and places around them.

One park-keeper, one wheelbarrow and a bird made from other people's rubbish. For all ages, indoors or out.

A spoonbill puppet made from recycled materials feeds a paper fish to a young spoonbill puppet. The puppeteers hands are visible and there is a blue backdrop with fabric representing the sea.
