Green Hustle is back, bringing thousands of people together in Nottingham’s Old Market Square on Saturday, 30 May, for a day of free summer fun. Under this year’s theme, Growing Together, the festival celebrates everything that connects us—from nature and food to music and shared creativity.

Wayward Objects will be there as a pre-cursor to Nottingham Puppet Festival, alongside the Magpie puppts and their nest that were created for the puppet festival in 2024. Meet Olive the park-keeper and Teaspoon the bird, and join their creator Michelle Reader to help craft weird and wonderful plants from recycled objects. It’s all about being resourceful, creative and looking after our green spaces.
